The enhancement will give the local community easier access to state-of-the-art sports facilities for recreational use. With two new artificial pitches for matches and training, it will be a huge benefit to the whole community.
The investment in the new sports pitches will provide the Club with a more certain and sustainable financial future that will benefit future generations. An adapted clubhouse and new changing rooms will modernise the facilities, as well making them available to local clubs.
The proposal enables JLR to reconfigure the wider Lode Lane factory site, making space for contemporary, energy-efficient work environments. This initiative aligns with JLR’s Reimagine strategy and goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions throughout its supply chain, products, and operations by 2039.
