ACCESS AND PARKING PLAN
HOW WILL THE CLUB BE ACCESSED?
The Sports and Social Club will maintain access via Rowood Drive.
HOW WILL JLR BE ACCESSED?
The additional proposed parking for JLR and the parking for Busy Bees will be accessed via the JLR Plant, in line with the existing accesses on Lode Lane and Damson Parkway.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS FROM THE SOUTH?
The pedestrian access from Rowood Drive will be retained, with a walkway provided alongside the pitches to maintain connectivity through the Sports and Social Club site.
WILL THIS INCREASE TRAFFIC?
No. The JLR parking is relocated from within the plant, so will not result in an overall traffic volume increase arriving or departing from the Plant and mitigates overspill parking on residential streets.
HOW MANY PARKING SPACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB?
176 car parking spaces and 10 cycle parking spaces. These are all well connected to the existing clubhouse and sports pitches.
HOW MANY PARKING SPACES ARE PROVIDED FOR JLR?
690 car parking spaces are provided for the JLR Plant.
