In response to the need for investment in the Club and its pitches, JLR has embarked on a project to enhance the sports facilities. This includes the provision of new sports pitches to improve quality and usage while releasing surplus land for parking.
The provision of two, flood-lit, artificial, pitches is a significant benefit, designed to elevate pitch quality and extend usability across different weather conditions and during early evenings. These enhanced facilities will cater to diverse sporting needs within the local community.
The development will feature carefully designed wire fences, some with ball-stop netting, strategically positioned around the pitches and storage yard. Existing boundary planting will be enhanced and new tress and hedgerows provided within the site.
Plans are in place to relocate the existing grass rugby pitch to a new site within the Solihull area in agreement with the Council, to ensure that the community needs continue to be met.
